Eat ’til you can’t eat no mo’

I had somewhat decided back in November that I might go back to being a pescetarian, but I kinda just ignored myself. When it comes to my health lately, I can slack a little on getting things done. I’ve become one of those moms who focuses on her child and forgets about her own needs. I know I need to find the balance, but it’s been hard while being lazy in all other aspects of my life.

The holidays came this year, and just like everyone else out there, I ate everything in sight. Truthfully, I think I ate more than I’ve ever eaten before during the holiday season. I could feel my body breaking down. I felt disgusting and fat. My teeth felt like they were rotting away.

Well, a few days ago, I decided I was too lazy to cook. I drove to Burger King, and sat there trying to figure out if there was a semi healthy option. As I got ready to pull into the driveway, I started thinking about the different sandwiches to choose from. All of a sudden, I got really nauseous and started gagging. I thought for sure I was going to puke all over the parking lot. That’s when I knew that it was time to make a change!

I drove home and got on Amazon.com. I bought some new tupperware and two pescetarian cook books. (There are two still sitting in my cart that I’m deciding on.)

I am doing some grocery shopping today and will start my transformation to a healthier life for the new year. I don’t want to be unhealthy anymore. I don’t want to be out of shape. I need to lose this weight and take better care of myself for my son. Sometimes we just need a push. I finally got mine.
